maybe? Idk I was just checking out the game. And I’m still very very preoccupied with Final Fantasy XIV (go check it out man so goddamn fun) There’s still not much to do far as I can see for end game.. l’D so I was thinking of transferring back to Fort Aspenwood and just doing WvW with my friend if she decides to come back (was busy with nursing school). Plus I don’t rp anymore on gw2 so I don’t see any reason to linger on the RP server.
Signs into gw2 after months of no play, more like:
Q:WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER WHEN YOU ARE IN A BAD MOOD?
What is this blog?
This, is a semi role play ask/art blog for Hero and his friends from an upcoming comic I’ve been working on for the past few months. (though the story and the idea have been around in my head for over a decade so it’s ABOUT TIME)
I, the creator, decided to make this for a lil fun and maybe to help spark inspiration for Hero and his future adventures.
Here I will post drawings regarding or relating to him and his story (As well as page updates when I start posting those). Followers and friends alike are allowed to send in questions or suggestions to Hero or his friends, and they will respond to the messages. This will be presented in comic format so you’ll be getting visual replies rather than text. Anonymous questions, in-character (fanmade or original), and regular messages are fine.
If you need to contact me or Hero privately our email is Hero.Wincaster@gmail.com.
our tag is #Hero Windcaster and/or #HeroWincaster

You all asked for me to share this when I made his blog so here it is! I’m still adding to it and updating it bit by bit. Go forth and enjoy pelting him with questions and asking about if he still likes charr (he will have no memory of any other previous fan-canons he’s been in including GW2, but that shouldn’t stop you).
Also feel free to re-blog to spread the love and Hero.
Q:Out of every mmorpg you've played thus far, which one do you believe has the greatest potential for roleplay customization and immersion? I was oriented on EQ2 originally, but have moved my belief to Champions Online.
Honestly I’m not sure. Really any game or setting can only be as immersive as the player wants. And each game has their ups and downs.
World of Warcraft has an abundant amount of lore and story to work with, and as dated as it is it still has a huge player base. I’ve only played for like a day though so i know nothing of its community. But from what I’ve seen it’s still very active and lively.
Guild Wars also has a easy to follow and very interesting lore and perhaps has the most interactive RP community I have ever seen on a social game, being you can hop into anyone’s role play and they just add you in [not always but in my experience you go to a pub everyone interacts with ya, I mean they rolled with me RPing Pancake Fartsparkle, that’s something special].
Final Fantasy XIV, don’t even get me started on it’s lore. Goes back into forever, and amusingly the game tends to reuse a lot of its age old characters and archetypes, and it never gets old. I also really love the emote and head tracking the game in the game since it adds a big extra visual flare to a RP experience. I haven’t don’t enough in-game RP to know its community there but I already have a lot of RP partners that i interacte with on SKype from ffxiv. (though personally I prefer FFXIV on the story quest aspect cause unlike gw2, in ffxiv you’re not out shined by some fucking treesus. Also they just.. Have so much story to work with and it just feels much more interesting that what was gw2’s. Even the side quests are always something quirky.)
Again it boils down to the people who play and how willing people are ready to immerse themselves into a game.
Like I cannot, for the life of me, build anything out of the Skyrim lore, I hate it. I think it’s about as interesting as a soppy piece of toast in a gutter. But I see other people who have entire head worlds regarding it.
So I guess it just depends how willing you are to be spoon fed what the game offers and whether or not to digest and absorb and grow from it.
IDK if this was even a useful response but there you have it.
Yeah, I did it. My friend pujface invited me to play WoW with her, so we got my dude to 14 before we both got tired. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna get the game, but I wanna try the dungeons out first see how those work. But mostly I want to play with my friend. So even then I’ll prolly stay around for the social aspect.
